Join Anjali & Kathy Budreski, a dynamic mother/daughter duo, for this unique opportunity to spend a quiet weekend by the ocean's edge before the tourist season begins. Align with the vibrant energies of the elements as the earth begins to awaken. We will join together as sisters and goddesses with the ocean, stars, sun and moon as our backdrop. Treasures at the Tideline~
I've always wanted to lead a retreat based on the classic best-seller, Gifts from the Sea by Anne Morrow Lindbergh. Although times have changed greatly since it's original publication in 1955, this book holds ideas, wisdom and timeless treasures that remain potent to this day. Anne used a week spent on the beach as a metaphor for life and gathered the ocean's polished shells & stones, turning them over in her palm and gleaning an important message from each. We too will spend time combing the beach for treasures that speak to us and allow nature to provide prompts for journal-writing, creative time, sharing, being and becoming.
The seashore is a powerful liminal zone (in-between or 'edge' space) where time, tides & storms come and go. If we listen, we will notice that there are insights, treasures and messages for us to receive by the sea. These insights will be different for each of us and contemplating and sharing them with each other creates a space fertile for transformation of our thoughts, habits, feelings and emotions. The gifts of the jumbled wrack-line provides a rich wellspring of gems to hold & ponder.
In particular we can ask ourselves:
* What is calling out to me at this time in my life?
* What is ebbing (receding) and what is flowing (coming in)?
* What 'pearl of wisdom' has developed from an irritation?
* Where do I feel most aligned and content?
* Where do I feel stuck or swirling in circles?
* How do I honor my own unique inner rhythms & cycles?
* What gift would allow me to change & transform?
* How can I nourish my soul/self more fully?
* What is an old identity or expectation that I can let go of?
* What gifts and treasures will I take with me?
With the ocean as our muse, we will DIVE DEEP into our hearts and spirits to answer some of these questions through small and large group discussions, journaling, sharing, walks in nature, yoga, mediation, visualization and gentle listening. Join us!

Enjoy: Yoga & perhaps some beach yoga (weather permitting), morning meditations, delicious healthy food, great company, group activities, Saturday evening ritual bonfire on the beach, nature walks, and plenty of time to just pause, listen and be.
We also hope to visit a labyrinth this year and incorporate that into our healing journey.
Check in and Check out: Retreat begins with an opening circle at 7:30 pm on Friday and formally ends on Sunday at noon after check out and a closing circle. For those who are staying the extra night (Sunday night) you are welcome to linger until 10 am on Monday morning.
Arrival: You are welcome to arrive beginning at 4 pm on Friday so that we have time to get your rooms and retreat ready for you! If you arrive before 4 pm, feel free to park in Linnell Landing Beach parking lot (which is right next to Linger Longer) and take a walk or enjoy some time on the beach!
Investment Includes: 3 Yoga classes, all activities, rooms, group meals and snacks. We would like to offer you the gift of a FREE extra night to 'linger longer' if you so choose. Anyone is welcome to enjoy an extra night on their own Sunday night, so even though the retreat will officially end on Sunday at noon, feel free to stay on until Monday. Please know that most participants choose to stay. You are welcome to bring groceries with you if you are staying Sunday night, as all of the units have a full kitchen complete with stove and oven, microwave, coffee makers, and basic supplies like dishes, pots, pans etc. Cottages are VERY well equipped.
Meal Plan: Our meal plan allows for both sharing meals as well as the opportunity to enjoy a few meals in your own cottage & to enjoy some of the budding local food scene on the Cape.
Friday Afternoon Reception- We will provide cheese, crackers, nuts, fruit, tea, and cookies for hungry travelers at 4 pm!
Friday Night Dinner- On your own/ we suggest for this meal to bring something prepared that you can just heat up.
All Breakfasts- On your own in your cottage- cottages are FULLY equipped with everything you need to prepare simple meals.
Saturday Lunch- Catered
Saturday Dinner- Catered
Sunday Lunch- On your own
Sunday Dinner- For those who stay Sunday night, we usually share a group meal out or get some yummy take-out.
There are some amazing new vegetarian/local/organic restaurants in the area that are fun to try in the Brewster/Orleans area including Sunbird Kitchen and Snowy Owl Coffee.

Deposits are non-refundable.
Remaining fees are fully refundable 90 days in advance.
Cancellations 90 to 45 days in advance are eligible for a 50% refund of fees above deposit.
Fees are non-refundable 44 days before the start of the event.
We will make exceptions if we are able to fill your spot, but this cannot be guaranteed.
